Grungle Downs is ideally located to the Darwin Airport, Ghan railway terminal, the Marrara sports stadium and several shopping centres and is only 13 kilometres to the Darwin city centre and the city of Palmerston.

Set on 5 ½ acres of native and tropical gardens guests are welcome to relax in the lounge, read a book from the library, walk in the extensive grounds, enjoy the abundant bird life or take a dip in the 13 metre in ground pool. A bird watchers paradise with over 60 species recorded.

Indulge your imagination in one of our 4 guest rooms, each one with it’s own special outlook. 3 have French doors opening out onto verandas and one has it’s own ensuite. We can even provide a 2 bedroom suite with it’s own lounge and study area. The Lodge has wireless connection and access to the Internet. All rooms are air-conditioned and fan cooled.

A spacious guest lounge, library and kitchenette add to the charm of this location where guests can help themselves to tea, coffee and homemade muffins throughout the day. For your convenience we have a large guest fridge, microwave, rice cooker, electric wok and BBQ. Laundry facilities are also available.

The Grungle Downs Cottage is spacious and completely self-contained with quality furnishings and is an ideal space for families and pets are welcome. Gourmet fresh food is a feature of Grungle Downs. Innovative dinners are served by candlelight- dinners must be arranged in advance.
