It has more than 60 metres of verandahs that offer sweeping, panoramic views over the town and the surrounding countryside. Before it was converted into a bed and breakfast in 2003, Rock-Al-Roy was the family home for Max, Lynn and their children. So it's very large and guests have their own private rooms. Rock-Al-Roy has two types of accommodation: one guest room with a double bed and another guest room with two single beds. Each of these also has its own shared bathroom and separate sitting room, with shared toilet facilities in a separate room. The house also features attractive gardens; an abundance of pot plants and ferns on the verandahs (Lyn is a keen gardner); pergolas and a combined sunroom and fernery. Max and Lyn also collect antiques and curios, and Rock-Al-Roy is dotted with many unusual and charming items that they've collected over many years. |
